Fighting for freedom, or fighting for innefficiencies?  The 2007 law banning watt-sucking light bulbs was to be repealed.  Not sure what they are fighting for here, but certainly the market has proved that efficient bulbs are less expensive anyway.  Just dispose of them properly when those cfl's break.  And keep an eye to the future of LED's...
